I founded the Tour de Tush in 2015 shortly after being diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. My involvement over this years is to grow the event and work at making an impact of raising funds in order to increase screening rates, reducing the screening barriers as well as provide support services for individuals and families currently fighting the disease. The Tour de Tush made it to the National Stage in 2020 but in 2022 I have stepped back from the event to more of a supportive/participant role as the Colon Cancer Coalition continues to grow the event and continue with the National platform. The event will continue to be a part of who I am and the memories it has given me are priceless.
